The new seasonal service, operated by Delta Air Lines, officially launched on 17 May and will run three times a week until 23 October using an Airbus A330 carrying 282 passengers.
The route becomes the airport’s seventh direct connection to the US and Delta’s third service from Nice, alongside New York JFK and Atlanta.
The move reflects booming demand for transatlantic travel from the Riviera, Monaco and northern Italy.
More than 300,000 passengers used direct US routes from Nice in 2025 - triple the number recorded in 2019.
Airport chief Franck Goldnadel described the new route as further proof of the region’s growing appeal to American travellers, while Delta’s France commercial director Eleonore Roger-Martin said the connection would offer a “simpler and more seamless” journey between New England and the Côte d’Azur.
The new Boston service is also expected to strengthen tourism and business links during the busy summer season, particularly around major events including the Festival de Cannes and the Monaco Grand Prix.
