This year’s edition, themed “The King is Dead, Long Live the Queen”, placed women at the heart of the festivities for the first time in the event’s history — a move that clearly struck a chord with audiences.

According to the City of Nice, more than 226,000 people attended the parades and famous Flower Battles, while 140,000 visited the Carnival Village.

The 2025 record of 400,000 spectators has now been comfortably surpassed.

Next year’s theme has already been announced: “Long Live Love”, with celebrations set for February 2027.
