A 3–0 loss to Porto leaves them bottom of the standings, with three league-phase matches still to play as the campaign approaches its final stretch.

The defeat continues a difficult run of form for the French side, who have yet to find momentum in the competition.

Elsewhere in the league phase, English club Aston Villa secured a 2–1 home win over Young Boys, strengthening their position in the group.

Nottingham Forest also enjoyed a strong result, beating Malmo 3–0.

The latest round of fixtures adds further pressure on Nice, who must now deliver a significant turnaround if they hope to climb the table in their remaining matches.
