The city ranked ahead of Paris and Marseille, reaffirming the strong and lasting appeal of the Provence–Alpes–Côte d’Azur region among travellers.

The Alpes-Maritimes dominated the summer rankings.

Cannes took 4th place, Antibes 8th and Menton 10th, giving the department four spots in the top 10. Most of the leading destinations were coastal cities or beach resorts, reflecting continued demand for seaside holidays.

In the autumn rankings, Nice held on to the number-one position. Menton rose to 5th place, while Cannes slipped to 9th.

Antibes fell out of the top 10 as traveller interest shifted towards cultural destinations, including Colmar, Annecy and Strasbourg.

Holidu compiled the rankings using search data from more than 100 million annual visitors, focusing specifically on stays scheduled between June and November 2025.
