From 14 December 2025 to 12 July 2026, and again from 30 August to 11 December 2026, no TER trains will run between 10pm and 6am, from Sunday to Thursday nights.

The works are being carried out by SNCF Réseau on the busy cross-border line linking the French Riviera with Italy.

Rail services will, however, be maintained overnight during major events such as the Monaco Grand Prix, AS Monaco matches and the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, with construction schedules adjusted to allow trains to run.

The disruption follows several months of night-time closures linked to rockface stabilisation works near Cap-d’Ail and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.

The current phase will also focus on signalling upgrades under the High Performance Marseille–Ventimiglia programme, which aims to increase train frequency to six services per hour in each direction.

Replacement bus services will operate to and from Ventimiglia, while ZOU! bus routes between Menton and Nice will be reinforced.
