Noise pollution in Nice - The mayor of Nice Christian Estrosi has unveiled new plans to tackle noise pollution in the city. Noisy scooters and motorcycles are responsible for 75% of sleep disorders and are perceived as a disturbing nuisance by 82% of French people. New measures will see noise radars being installed and tested over the coming months in Nice.
