Starting from eighth on the grid, the Nissan Formula E driver carefully managed his energy and timing before slicing through the field in the closing stages to secure his second Monaco E-Prix victory in two years.

A strategic race from start to finish

The race quickly turned chaotic as drivers battled aggressively throughout the pack, with ATTACK MODE activations constantly reshuffling the order.

Rowland stayed patient during the opening stages while several front-runners fought for position.

As the race approached its final laps, the Briton began making his move, eventually taking the lead at the Nouvelle Chicane on Lap 23 of 28.

Despite multiple interruptions caused by Full Course Yellow periods, Rowland remained calm and controlled to cross the finish line first.

First Formula E podium for Felipe Drugovich

Felipe Drugovich finished second for Andretti Formula E, securing the best result of his Formula E career.

The Brazilian originally crossed the line behind Edoardo Mortara, but the Mahindra Racing driver received a 10-second post-race penalty following contact with António Félix da Costa on the opening lap.

That promoted Drugovich onto the podium for the first time in the championship.

António Félix da Costa completed the podium in third after recovering impressively from an early incident that dropped him to the back of the field.

Championship battle tightens

Although Rowland claimed victory, it is Jaguar TCS Racing’s Mitch Evans who leaves Monaco leading the Drivers’ Championship standings after another strong points finish.

Jaguar also moved ahead of Porsche in the Teams’ Championship, while Porsche continues to lead the Manufacturers’ standings.

It was a frustrating afternoon for Dan Ticktum, who had claimed pole position for both Monaco races but failed to score points after receiving a late penalty.

The Monaco paddock also welcomed several high-profile guests on Sunday, including Formula 1 World Champion Lando Norris.

The McLaren driver spent the day inside the Andretti Formula E garage supporting his friend Jake Dennis while also getting a close-up look at Formula E’s new GEN4 car.

“This is the first Formula E race I’ve been to and I’m excited,” Norris said.
