The production is now running at the Savoy Theatre and features new songs written by Tom Fletcher, known for his work with the band McFly.
The musical follows the well-known storyline of Paddington arriving in London from Peru and being welcomed by the Brown family.
Early reviews from theatre critics have highlighted elements including the show’s stage effects, its portrayal of Paddington and a musical number in the second act centred on marmalade, a signature detail from the original stories.
The production is designed as a family-oriented show, drawing on the long-standing popularity of the Paddington character created by Michael Bond.
The musical is scheduled to run at the Savoy Theatre until October 2026, giving audiences an extended opportunity to see the new adaptation during its West End engagement.
