Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight honoured with Birmingham Tram
A West Midlands Metro tram has been named after Steven Knight ahead of the Birmingham premiere of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.

The tram features striking artwork of Cillian Murphy in his role as Tommy Shelby, alongside the message “Home of the Peaky Blinders”.
Knight said the tribute was “surreal” and praised the city as “one of the stars” of the new film, which was shot in Birmingham.
Fans gathered in Centenary Square for the unveiling, many dressed in period costume.
Local leaders said the honour recognises Knight’s role in putting Birmingham and the West Midlands firmly back on the global screen map.
