Petition

Petition - A petition has been launched in Nice in protest against a decision announced by the Mayor of Nice Christian Estrosi to rename rue de l’Opéra in the old town after the former mayor of the city Jacques Médecin. Nearly 800 people have signed the petition opposing  the "glorification of a corrupt man with racist tendencies”. The city council has planned to pay tribute  to Jacques Médecin  in a ceremony on November 24th.
