Police raid underway at Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council - A police search is underway this Tuesday morning at the Alpes-Maritimes departmental council in Nice. Judicial police officers arrived at the administrative centre on Route de Grenoble and reportedly searched multiple offices in pursuit of documents and files. According to a source close to the investigation, police were still on site at around 10 a.m. Council president Charles-Ange Ginésy, currently on holiday, stated he was unaware of the operation. The public prosecutor has, for the time being, declined to comment.
