The Pope will arrive by helicopter at 9am at the Monaco heliport, where he will be welcomed by Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlène of Monaco, followed by a 21-gun salute.

After a formal ceremony at the Prince's Palace of Monaco, the Pope and Prince Albert will address the public from the palace balcony.

A papal procession through the streets will follow before a meeting with the Catholic community, a gathering with young people at the Church of Saint‑Dévote.

The visit will conclude with a pontifical mass at Stade Louis II at 3:30pm.

The Pope is scheduled to depart for the Vatican City at 5:35pm.

The trip marks the first official visit by a reigning pope to Monaco in the modern era.
