Population

Population - In 10 years, the population in the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region has increased slightly with small municipalities experiencing a strong demographic growth.

According to the latest figures published on Monday the region has 5,030,890 inhabitants which is higher than the national average. Since 2012, the Var has experienced the strongest growth: + 0.7%, against + 0.5% for Vaucluse and + 0.4% for Bouches-du-Rhône.
