Between July 2025 and June 2026, the school underwent four relocations and operated across five different sites while the renovation was carried out.
A total of 110 professionals were involved in the project.
The lycée’s 40 classrooms have now been fitted with interactive digital screens and new furniture.
Air conditioning and ventilation systems have also been modernised, alongside improvements to thermal and sound insulation and new joinery.
Photovoltaic panels have been installed as part of the transformation, while an additional 260 square metres of pergolas have been added to improve outdoor areas.
Following the completion of the work, Lycée Albert Ier is now back at its original site and ready to welcome pupils for the start of the new school year on Monday.
