Princess Charlene Foundation to mark World Drowning Prevention Day with free public event
The Princess Charlene Foundation will host a free World Drowning Prevention Day event in Monaco on 25 July, featuring rescue demonstrations, water safety activities and free pool entry for the first 100 under-18s.
The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation will mark World Drowning Prevention Day with a free public event at the Rainier III Nautical Stadium on Saturday, 25 July, aimed at raising awareness of water safety and teaching life-saving skills.

Running from 10am to 5pm, the event will feature a Water Safety Village with the Monaco Red Cross, Maritime Police and the Monaco Fire and Rescue Service, offering advice, demonstrations and activities for families throughout the day.
A water rescue demonstration by the Maritime Police and the stadium's lifeguards will take place at 11am, with additional demonstrations scheduled later in the day.
The first 100 visitors under the age of 18 will also receive free entry to the Rainier III Nautical Stadium.
According to the Foundation, more than 300,000 people die from drowning each year worldwide, with children accounting for the majority of victims.
Since its creation in 2012, the Foundation's swimming and water safety programmes have reached more than 2.3 million young people across 45 countries.
The event will also launch the Foundation's summer water safety awareness campaign, featuring a series of educational videos broadcast across Monaco, several towns on the French Riviera and on its social media channels, highlighting simple actions that can help prevent drownings.
The Foundation is encouraging families to attend the free event to learn essential water safety skills and support its mission to reduce preventable drowning deaths.
