Princess Charlene’s charity water bike race will return this June with a new 225km Mediterranean course linking Italy and Monaco.
Princess Charlene’s charity water bike race “The Crossing” is set to return this June with a brand-new Mediterranean route between Italy and Monaco.

Organised by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, the event will see four teams of endurance athletes tackle a 225km relay race by water bike from Viareggio to Monaco on 19 and 20 June.
Teams of four will rotate day and night across the course, which passes through the protected Pelagos marine sanctuary before finishing at Larvotto beach in Monaco.
The event aims to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation’s work promoting swimming education, drowning prevention and the positive values of sport.
The public will also be able to follow the race online and contribute through a dedicated fundraising platform.
