Dame Jilly, who died in October aged 88 after a fall, was celebrated as a “ray of sunshine” by friends and admirers.
The Queen, a long-time friend of the writer, previously described her as “wonderfully witty and compassionate”.
Among those attending were Rivals stars David Tennant, Victoria Smurfit, Danny Dyer, Aidan Turner and Katherine Parkinson.
Smurfit said the author’s stories and spirit would be kept alive “for as long as we can”.
