Roadside police checks

Roadside police checks – Police in the Var have been alarmed by infractions from motorists during several roadside checks which have been carried out over the past few days in the region. In total 35 fines were issued the reasons; not respecting the stop sign, using a mobile phone at the wheel and not wearing a seatbelt.   

In the ongoing fight to save lives and reduce the number of road accidents police have announced that several operations of this type will be carried out in the coming days in other parts of the region.
