Saint Laurent du Var police have cordoned off residential area - Police have cordoned off a residential area in Saint Laurent du Var this morning with reports of a man threating to commit suicide from the first floor of an apartment block. Police have intervened on avenue du General de Gaulle and the mayor is currently at the scene. The public has been advised to avoid the area.
