Samsung targets major AI expansion across its devices

Samsung says it plans to double the number of devices using Google’s Gemini AI to around 800 million this year as it steps up competition with Apple and Chinese rivals.

Samsung has announced plans to significantly increase the number of its devices powered by Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence, with a target of around 800 million units this year.

The move would double the current number of products using the AI system.

The expansion is part of Samsung’s broader strategy to strengthen its position in the global tech market.

By rolling out Gemini AI more widely across its range of phones, televisions and home appliances, the company is aiming to stay ahead of Apple while also fending off growing competition from Chinese manufacturers.
