The one-day action, called by the Sud Rail union to coincide with annual pay negotiations, is likely to affect TER services across Provence–Alpes–Côte d’Azur, including links between Nice, Monaco, Cannes and Antibes, as well as some long-distance TGV routes.

Sud Rail says recent management measures, including a €400 bonus, do not offset rising living costs, and is demanding a flat-rate €400 monthly pay rise and a 13th-month salary.

Detailed service information is due to be published by SNCF the day before the strike.
