Strong start for Team France at the Winter Olympics

Team France have claimed their first two medals of the Winter Olympics, while Great Britain secured top spot in mixed doubles curling ahead of the semi-finals.

Team France have made a strong start to the Winter Olympics, winning their first two medals of the Games.

France claimed gold in the mixed relay biathlon, adding a top podium finish early in the competition.

They also picked up silver in the skiathlon, thanks to Mathis Desloges, who delivered France’s second medal of the event.

The results give the French team early momentum as the Games continue.

Meanwhile, Great Britain also enjoyed success on the ice.

Jennifer Dodds and Bruce Mouat have guaranteed a first-place finish in the mixed doubles curling standings, ensuring they go into tonight’s semi-finals as the top-ranked team.
