Although neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed any wedding plans, around 100 guests arrived at Madison Square Garden on Thursday evening for what has widely been described as a pre-wedding celebration or rehearsal dinner.
Among those spotted were Jack Antonoff, Lena Dunham, Camila Cabello, Anya Taylor-Joy, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez and several of Swift's close friends.
Kelce's mother Donna Kelce, along with a number of NFL stars, family members and longtime friends, were also seen in New York.
Preparations throughout the week fuelled speculation, with crews unloading staging, lighting and large floral displays.
Soft pink lighting and oversized flower arrangements gave the venue a garden-inspired look, while guests reportedly followed a black-tie dress code and a strict no-phones policy.
According to several US media reports, Thursday's gathering will be followed by a much larger celebration on Friday, with up to 1,000 guests expected.
Temporary street closures around Madison Square Garden were approved by New York City, although officials have not confirmed who requested the permits.
Despite the mounting speculation, neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed that the events are linked to their wedding, leaving fans waiting for official confirmation.
