The singer has previously cited Taylor as a role model, drawing parallels between their experiences of fame and intense media scrutiny.
The track appears on Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, released in 2025.Swift obtained permission from Taylor’s estate to use the footage, with royalties from the video set to benefit her legacy, including charitable work linked to HIV and AIDS.
