Travelators to be replaced in Prince Pierre Gallery - As part of the plan to renew mechanical connections launched in 2020 and its mobility policy, the Prince's Government will replace the six moving sidewalks, travelators, in the Prince Pierre gallery, which will be added to the 50 devices already replaced. The busy gallery provides a link between the railway station and Allée Lazare Sauvaigo. The work will begin today June 19th, 2024, ending on April 30th, 2025. During this period, part of the travelators will remain in service to facilitate travel, in addition to the pedestrian paths which will be permanently maintained. The mechanical connections installed in 2000 will be replaced by more efficient devices, equipped with technology allowing automatic restarting if the emergency stop button is pressed.
