The children were discovered lifeless in an above-ground pool that was uncovered at the time of discovery. Their disappearance had been reported earlier in the day by their family. The two victims reportedly belonged to the Traveller community, which had recently settled in the area. An investigation has been launched by the Grasse public prosecutor’s office to determine the causes of death. Autopsies are scheduled to be carried out today, Tuesday 5th August.
