Weather Update - The Alpes-Maritimes and Var regions were placed under an orange weather alert for storms and rain-induced flooding on Wednesday, October 16. The hardest-hit areas include Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Cannes, and Grasse, with intense downpours expected to continue into Thursday afternoon. Rainfall levels have reached up to 120 mm in some areas, causing local flooding.
