Weather warning

Weather warning - Météo France has placed the Gard, the Bouches-du-Rhone and the Var on a yellow weather alert with thunderstorms forecast. The alert is in place from 2pm this afternoon through until 2am tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile winter has arrived in the Var with -6 degrees recorded at the weekend. After unusually mild temperatures for this time of year frost was present in many areas of the Var and for the past few days temperatures have been lower than normal for the season.
