Inspired by the famous Western States Endurance Run in the United States, the event brings the spirit of international ultra-trail racing to the Côte d’Azur, with long-distance routes, significant elevation and the option for runners to be accompanied by a pacer during the final stages.

The main race, covering 165 kilometres with around 5,000 metres of elevation, will start from Grimaud, with several other formats available ranging from 100 km and 65 km courses to shorter distances of 45 km, 25 km and a 10 km night run.

Participants will pass through a variety of landscapes, including forests, ridgelines and coastal viewpoints, with the route taking in locations such as La Garde-Freinet, La Croix-Valmer and Gassin before finishing back in Port Grimaud.

The event will also feature a village, talks and activities, with organisers aiming to create a community-focused experience for both elite runners and amateurs.

At the finish line, participants will receive a finisher shirt and a slice of tarte tropézienne — a local touch to mark the end of the challenge.
