Cactus Exhibition

25 October to 11 January 2026
Monaco

The “Cactus” exhibition at the New National Museum of Monaco explores the beauty and mystery of cacti and succulents — their strange shapes, vivid colours, and rich symbolism.

Originating from the world’s hot, dry regions, these plants became prized in Europe during the 19th century and inspired artists, designers, and filmmakers with their unusual forms.

The exhibition brings together art, science, and history through photographs, drawings, films, and design pieces, showing how cacti influenced creativity across many fields.

It even extends into the Villa Sauber gardens, which have been turned into a striking cactus garden in collaboration with the Exotic Garden of Monaco.

The exhibition is on at the Villa Sauber on Avenue Princesse Grace until January 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
