Wednesday, 8. July, 11am, at the Palais de l’Europe, Menton, the British Association de Menton will celebrate “Entente Cordial,” Taking a “tongue in cheek” look at our historic relationship with France over centuries.

Guest speaker is Stephen Clarke, bestselling author of “A year in the Merde,” and “1000 Years of annoying the French ”Singer songwriter, Tim O’Connor, who has performed with greats such as Cat Stevens and Arty McGlynn, will perform excerpts from his new album, in collaboration with Stephen Clarke.

The album be launched at the Palais de l’Europe.Included are pre-lunch drinks, a top notch 3 course lunch, wine at an All-inclusive price of 90€”This event is open to all.

Cagnes-sur-Mer invites you to its monthly cultural rendezvous, every first Sunday of the month, at the beautiful Château-musée Grimaldi. This edition explores the theme Music & Cinema, with Nicolas Mazmanian (piano) and Vincent Beer-Demander (mandolin). Together, they’ll share a programme inspired by legendary film composers including Ennio Morricone, Vladimir Cosma, Claude Bolling, Francis Lai, and more — featuring works written especially for the mandolin, including Sonata del Sur by Lalo Schifrin.
