Wind gusts of up to 70km/h expected on Wednesday evening in the Var

Sunny but blustery conditions are forecast for Wednesday, with strengthening winds and low temperatures making it feel particularly cold by the evening.

Strong winds are forecast for Wednesday, January 7, with gusts reaching up to 70km/h by the evening.

Despite sunny conditions, temperatures will remain low.

Morning temperatures are expected to be around 6°C, feeling more like 2°C due to the wind. Gusts of up to 50km/h are forecast to develop gradually during the day.

In the afternoon, temperatures will rise only slightly to around 8°C, with a “feels like” temperature of 4°C.

Conditions will worsen in the evening as winds strengthen further, with gusts reaching 70km/h.

Temperatures will also fall, with the perceived temperature dropping to around 1°C.
