Pension reforms

Pension reforms - French Prime Minister Edouard Philipe is to make a last attempt at a meeting with unions today and tomorrow, to find agreement over pension reforms. The meeting comes ten days ahead of national strike action planned by unions on December 5th.

Édouard Philippe will try to regain the hand by inviting unions and employers for a new round of discussions. Three themes are up for discussion: the definition of the future pension system, the question of its transition and the budgetary balance of the new regime.
