Death toll rises in the Var after severe floods hit the region - A second victim has been found in a car washed away by the sea. The Var has been hit since Wednesday by heavy rain and flooding. Several cars were washed into the sea by the rise of the river Garonnette in Sainte-Maxime. So far the bodies of a man and a woman have been found in vehicles near the neighboring town of Roquebrune-sur-Argens.
